Copper Bracelets - Fashion of Function?

Here at Baldwin’s we want to hear from you, our loyal customers as to your experiences with copper bracelets. We know that copper bracelets provide pain relief for a variety of arthritic conditions and believe them to be a valuable natural way to relieve the unending pain of arthritic joints. The benefits of copper bracelets are a controversial subject, with as many people touting the benefits as those who rubbish them.

We want to put the argument to bed once and for all by hearing your views and opinions. So I ask you all reading this to send in your comments on copper bracelets. Do they provide pain relief, or are they simply a waste of time?

I am going to now provide a little background on copper bracelets which I think is important. Copper bracelets for arthritis pain relief is essentially an old folk remedy. It is believed that the copper is absorbed by the skin and serves to relieve joint pain that is present. Animal studies that have been carried out suggest that oral copper supplements reduce the development and progression of arthritis even, and many do use copper supplements as a preventative measure to ward off the threat of arthritis.

It is possible that sweat can interfere with how well the bracelets work, which could be a reason for mixed reports that have been received by people wearing copper bracelets to combat joint pain. The mixed reports have led to the controversy surrounding the subject. Some additional clinical testing that has been carried out in the past pointed to ionized bracelets (such as those of a Balance Bracelet) being nor more effective at relieving joint and muscular pain than those of a non-ionized (placebo) bracelet.

If the bracelets are an effective pain killer, then there is no doubt that copper bracelets are a fantastic alternative to pumping your body full of chemicals and drugs to combat the pain, but with the differing reports and studies, we want to hear from you. Does the copper combat muscular and joint pain? Perhaps you have tried copper oral supplements in an attempt to stave off arthritic pain. Please tell us what you have discovered and if you would recommend this to all.

At Baldwin’s we have in stock a line in copper bracelets. Perhaps you would like to carry out a test for yourself? Do you suffer from joint or muscular pain?
